Superior Color Performance with Texsilk’s Solution Dyed

All TEXSILK’s colors are Solution dyed, which is the best way to create fabric with exceptional color fastness and UV resistance. This method infuses pigment into the very core of every yarn for long-lasting, vibrant colors.

Our solution dyed outdoor fabric maintain its rich hues and appearance over years of sun, cleaning and wear. That means no fading or discoloration even in harsh outdoor environments.

Unlike surface dyed fabrics, where the inner part of the yarn is white -making it much vulnerable and losing the color faster-, Texsilk's solution dyed yarns are colored at the molecular level during production. The pigment penetrates the entire yarn cross-section rather than just the surface. This provides complete protection from the elements.

Outdoor and marine fabrics experience significant UV exposure, abrasion, and wear. Our solution dyed materials withstand these demands thanks to color permeating the inner structure of each thread. Discover excellent color performance that keeps fabrics looking their best.

Effortless Care for Texsilk’s Naturally Stain Resistant Fabric

TEXSILK’s proprietary fabric offer the ultimate in easy care and stain resistance. Made from hydrophobic yarns, our materials naturally repel moisture, dirt, and spills.

Liquids sit on the surface rather than absorbing into the fabric. This allows stains to be wiped away with minimal effort, using just soap and water in most cases. Even tough oil-based stains can be tackled with heavy duty cleaners without damaging the fabric.

Texsilk fabric is woven tightly so debris and soils become trapped between yarns rather than penetrating the fibers. This makes spot cleaning and full laundering a breeze.

Our fabric is also resistant to bleach and other harsh chemicals, so feel free to use aggressive cleaners to remove stubborn marks and discoloration. Even 100% bleach is not affecting the fabric or its colors. Texsilk's stain fighting properties retain the showroom vibrancy and appearance of your shades, upholstery, and marine canvas for years.

Superior Durability with Texsilk’s Tear Resistant Fabrics

TEXSILK fabrics achieve exceptional tear resistance and break strength thanks to our continuous filament yarn construction. Unlike fabrics made from staple fibers, our proprietary yarns are spun as one continuous strand.

This enhances the tensile strength of the fabric dramatically, preventing rips, snags, and punctures during production and everyday use. Texsilk fabrics have at least 50% higher tear resistance compared to standard outdoor textiles.

The uninterrupted filament yarns uniformly distribute and dissipate stress throughout the fabric rather than accumulating in one weak point. You can count on Texsilk materials to withstand years of activity with smooth, flawless performance.

Whether it's high traffic public venues or active family enjoyment, Texsilk offers durable tear resistance. Our fabrics retain their beauty and function over their long lifespan. Put our fabrics to the test and experience the Texsilk difference

100% Eco-Friendly and Sustainable - Texsilk’s Environmental Commitment

At TEXSILK, environmental consciousness is at the heart of our fabric engineering and manufacturing. We strive to deliver innovative fabrics while minimizing our footprint.

We used less resources to make a better product. TEXSILK is made with one of the lightest materials available (TEXSILK floats on water!) so we need less raw material to make 1 m2 of fabric. This is why TEXSILK has a lighter weight per m2 but offers better properties than existing fabrics.

We use no water on the dying process of the yarn, thanks to our unique solution dyed process.

Texsilk fabrics are 100% recyclable. They can be remelted and reshaped into new products up to 9 times before thermal recycling. Our manufacturing process also produces zero waste - all excess materials get reused by other industries.

We are a 0 waste company. All our waste, rejected fabric,… is reused in local industries to make new products out of it thanks to its easy recyclability.

The raw materials for Texsilk fabrics derive primarily from natural gas. Our fabrics even float on water thanks to the buoyant properties of their composition.

Texsilk’s Water Repellent Finish.
The First Line of Defense

At Texsilk, we treat every meter of our solution dyed Olefin fabric with a durable water repellent finish. This provides the first line of defense against the elements.

Our high-performance fabrics are woven using solution dyed olefin yarns, meaning the color is injected into the fibers prior to being extruded into yarn. This creates superior colorfastness and resistance to UV fading.

On top of these durable and fade-resistant olefin fabrics, we apply a durable water repellent treatment using cutting-edge technology to create a hydrophobic protective layer on the surface of the fibers. This prevents moisture from saturating the fabric while allowing internal water vapor to escape.

The key benefits of our water repellent finish include:

Keeps Fabrics Dry – small quantitites of water, snow, and dew will bead up and roll off the fabric surface rather than soak in. This maintains the beautiful look and feel of your upholstery or shade fabrics when used outdoors.

Resists Stains – Spills and dirt wash off easily before they can set into the fabric, making care and maintenance much simpler.

Provides UV Resistance – The DWR coating forms a protective barrier that helps reflect harsh UV rays.

Long-Lasting Protection – We use only the highest grade formulations to ensure durable water repellency that won’t wash away after just a few uses.

Our standard water repellent finish is just the start. Discover all of the added fabric enhancements we can provide to create the perfect outdoor-ready fabrics for your needs:

On top of the standard water repellent treatment we can add other finishes for different applications:
