# Texsilk

> Texsilk (Etisilk, S.A.) is a family-owned textile manufacturer with roots going back to 1820, now in its 7th generation. It is based at the foot of Montserrat, about 60 km from Barcelona, and produces technical fabrics for outdoor and indoor use, solution dyed with olefin yarns. The Evolution collections (from 300 g/m²) are high-quality fabrics for outdoor and indoor cushions and upholstery, with strong colour fastness, a soft feel and vivid colours. The Classic collections (190 to 270 g/m²) are high-performance outdoor fabrics for cushions and awnings, with many plains and stripes. Texsilk also makes blankets, rugs and tapes, and its website has a fabric finder by colour or reference. All fabrics have a standard DWR water-repellent finish. The Fix coating (PU/acrylic copolymer) improves sewability in open fabrics such as the Semai collection. Texsilk serves manufacturers of awnings and parasols, cushions and pillows, shade sails, upholstered furniture, marine cushions and covers, Balinese beds and sun loungers, poufs, chaise longues, director's chairs, pergolas and covers. Their needs include durability, colour fastness, UV resistance, water and stain repellency, easy maintenance, good sewability and chemical safety (PFAS-free, OEKO-TEX Class 1). The company is 100% vertically integrated (pigments, yarn extrusion, warping, weaving, finishing, quality control and warehouse). Its production is fully PFAS-free, and it is the only outdoor fabric producer with OEKO-TEX Class 1 certification across its entire range. Its fabrics resist stains, bleach and UV, and sustainability is a focus. Texsilk listens to each customer's manufacturing challenges and proposes solutions, with no sales pressure or obligation.
